Kingbright offers a new bi-colour SMD-LED with dome lens; the new KPTBD-3216 series. The 3.2 x 1.6 mm dome lens package with thickness of 1.8 mm provides a viewing angle of 30 degrees allowing a bright intensity output and eliminating any light bleeding issues. Typical issues with side emitting LEDs when designed on arrays are light bleeding, overshadowing or dim light outputs. These issues can be resolved by using the new 3.2 x 1.6 mm dome lens package.
Kingbright’s KPTBD-3216 series is available in the colour combinations red/green (KPTBD-3216SURKCGKC), red/yellow (KPTBD-3216SURKSYKC) and red/blue (KPTBD-3216SURKQBDC). Other colour combinations are available upon request.
This 3.2 x 1.6 mm dome lens package is excellent for network devices, consumer electronics, medical equipment, hand held products and icon/text indications.
